Camp / Open fires

Please note that camp / open fires (exterior fireplaces) are prohibited on our territory.

However, for a special event, a permit may be requested at the Fire Department, upon certain conditions.

Fireworks

The use of non-authorized fireworks are prohibited on our territory.
 
Did you know that, to operate fireworks, you must be certified in the operation of fireworks? As well, a permit to operate fireworks on our territory must be issued by the city.

Chimney Sweeping

Door to door notification has started on our territory.  The chimney sweeping company, Le Meilleur Ramoneur, will leave you a leaflet telling you to contact them if you wish to use their services.

The set price is of $20 / per chimney.

If you are sweeping your chimney yourself or have it done by a different company, it is important to let the Fire Department us to know.  To do so, please come to the Fire Station at 206, 8th avenue in Deux-Montagnes to sign the appropriate form.
